Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies…
I was just listening to music this morning and one of my new favorites is a song about sitting at a table with the Lord of the universe and enjoying a meal with Him and “the family”.!!! What a day that will be. It’s gonna be amazing!!
It talks about how there’s gonna be a table filled with the best food. Imagine what will be there!! What’s your favorite and it will be nothing compared to what is there. It talks about how all are welcome at this table and that there’s a place set just for me and one for you(if you’ve trusted in His son Jesus). All is forgiven at this table!! It’s the table of new beginnings!! Praise Jesus!! And when you come to this table there is no place for shame or chains of bondage and you will receive no condemnation at this table. At this table you trade the chains of bondage for crowns of freedom.
The cups are full of love and they are never ending.
And at this table there are no orphans. We might come in as orphans but He makes us sons and daughters.
Everyone is welcome!!! Praise Jesus!! I’m welcome!! You’re welcome!!! The most “despicable” are 100% welcome with Jesus as their Savior.
I don’t know who needs to hear that this morning. You are LOVED by the King of the universe!!! The God of Heaven loves you!!! If you are still running and trying to figure it out on your own can I encourage you to come to the table this morning and have a seat and rest from the striving!! He will welcome you with open arms!! He is waiting for you!! He will be faithful and you will find no one kinder and more loving!! You are welcome at this table this morning!!!
